You are gonna be responsible for designing the backend for most of the apps and websites we ship.

What You'll Work On
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs for client web/mobile applications.
- Structuring PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis databases for maximum performance and sanity.
- Writing clean, testable code in Node.js (TypeScript), Python, or Go.
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications to AWS, Vercel, or Render.
- Integrating third-party APIs (Stripe, OAuth, LLMs, webhooks) and handling edge cases gracefully.
- Debugging performance bottlenecks, database slow-queries, and memory leaks before users notice them.
What We Expect
- 3+ years of professional backend experience building production systems.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Deep understanding of database design, indexing, query optimization, and schema migrations.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP), Docker, and containerized deployments.
- Comfortable writing unit and integration tests (Jest, PyTest, or similar).
- Strong communication skills—you can explain trade-offs clearly without hiding behind technical jargon.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers).
- Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, BullMQ).
- Background working in a agency or consultancy environment handling multiple client codebases.
